Gegroet Gm'ers en Spelers,
Met mijn embrace into 4gm als lid heb ik gezegd dat ik een post-apoc game ga proberen te maken. And damn well, i'm gonna make it here.
Dit spreek voor zich dat het W.I.P. zal zijn en waarschijnlijk blijft tot whenever.
Ik begin gewoon met het maken met als basis de D6 multi-die systeem met daarbij de bijhorende char. sheets. en indeed Ferr, ik ga het inderdaad houden bij Stamina/Strenght, Dex, Wits, Insight en Style.
maar eerst een Intro:
"Decades it has been since there was peace, Decades have passed since metal birds roamed the sky, when food was still easy to get and drinking didn't made you sick in a day.
Decades has passed when the elders spoke of the truest of horrors, the bright day, that burning day,
The day that suns fell.
Man retreaded anywhere where he thaught he'd be safe, some had cellers, reinforced for a cold war that finally came. some dug deeper into the mountains than anyone dared. then there we're others who went for the country, away from the busteling city's which were struck first, some found shelter, most didn't.
People left in the open, quickly died due to water that made then vomit their stomaches up, Food that rotted in their hands. some survived or heard stories from Those, creatuers from the old world which adapted to the new world, as only mother nature could.
Some people survived the barren wastelands, but they are diffrent, they adapted themselfs or it was done for them.
Decades have past and now its up to you, to make or break this new world, to rule or serve, but most of all to survive, whether you came out of a protected hole in the ground or have been a wastelander since you can remember.
Now it's up to you."
Main Factions:
"Even in these times, people change so little. Some clump up by choise, idea's or just safety. These factions, clans, tribes and all of their names boils down again to powerhouses which will grab to eachothers throats, just to get more power, more resources, because man is violent, and war never changes."
Lightblessers also known as the Sons of the light:
"In the wake of the burning days, there are those who say that it was a blessing and a curse, that the suns came crashing into the earth, that mankind was too corrupted from the old world and deserved pendance. highy zealous, they guard holy places like the great craters in the old city's, the first to recieve the blessings. and they call one place their most precious home, The beacon mountain, tales say that there is a sun who forgave the Firsts as it crashed down into their high homes, though only members of the first and the members of the light sages know the truth behind it."
The Anarchists:
"What would man be with out his pleasure, These rag-tag bunch saw their freedom when the world changed, their shackles undone and their chains blasted off, some say these are the children of castoffs and inmates, but to them they are the founders of their freedom, finally without any restrictions, they steal what they steal, shoots what moves and not one of their own, pillage, rape and plunder at their own leisure. there are talks that unlike their apperance that their is an organisation with in them that guides them, a force so vicious, so bloodthirsty, so liberated that no-one can believe it and as such these are just stories, rumors. for these chaotic group, who would even think they can be organised."
The Colonists:
"Survivors from dozen basements and great vaults, these men try to rebuild the land as it used to be, like it was before the suns. First they looked doomed due to lack of food, fuel, morale and leaders. Till He came, a traveler from lands far past our knowledge. he came with just a dog, his pistol and his workers suit. this man of mystery rallied the colonists and showed them the secret of surviving, he showed them how to farm. something no-one had accomplised before in these lands, as the land looked barren, the water soiled and plants and tree's withered withevery attempt. This man showed them that they sould be afraid of putting the plants so close to the lakes and rivers, and in turn something nothing short of a miracle happend, plants grew, irradiate, but the water that sweped past the roots was clear and purified. and now they could rebuild. Unfortunatly this great man had to go through, on with his journey, finding something he never told anyone.
This man left again with his rifle, his dog and the last they could see, was the 13 on the back of his blue working suit."
The Mutants:
"Though not group then a label to brand all which grew unnatural things, changed by the suns. the sons of the light calls them the sunhugged and see them as blessed with their deficiencies. The rest see them as the wicked and damned. These mutants are humaniods which changed so much, its sometimes hard to see their origins. Some grew new limbs, an extra eye. but the most common are the ones how can never die naturally, as their skin fell of, their colour changes, most became feral as their minds fell of as their skin but still quite some are aware, still think like any human can, they call them selfs ghouls, and all know their curse. they can survive the radiation, some even think so might live forever, but their minds will corrupt on them and turn them into reavers, the mindless, the killers, the brutes. The other more common story is still a story, a rumour, but everyone knows one, of those twice the sice of man, thrice as strong, 4 arms, six eyes. each storie brings something new but all agree, their is something in the shadows, watching and waiting. they might be just shadows, they might be everything mankind could have evoled in, was it not for they way man lives with farming. as learned men from the past said: The Lazarus Project."
Basic stats zijn als volgt:
Stamina: Strenght and endurance Dexterity: How good you are with your hands Wits: All your gathered knowledge and its useage. Insight: Sharp eyes and gutfeelings. Style: The way you walk and talk.
Klasse: (can be ignored):
Wastelander = +1 stamina in terms of stats rolls
Cavedweller = + 1 Insight I.T.O.R.
Basement resident = + 1 wits itor +1 dex -1 style itor
city escapee = +1 style itor.
Mutant = + 1 mutation.
Use interesting new items like:
Rad-B-Gone Stemm pills various "herbs" and "Spices" The Peacemaker the micro
and many more.
Now with your favorite friends:
Hunger, Thrist, sex, drugs and STD's to name a few, but ofcourse also your favorite friends: Radiation and Mutation (to Gm's descretion)
Get interesting new limbs and get better with new "add-ons" like:
4-arms Big Brain Wings hunter legs "feelers" Hive mind lover's eyes
all due to (un-)controled Radiation.
